Renée K. Nicholson, Associate Professor in the Programs in Multi- & Interdisciplinary Studies and director of the WVU Humanities Center, will will explore how artists convey a sense of place in both visual art and writing.  The featured artwork will be William H. Partridge's landscape painting,  Winter Twilight, currently on display in the McGee Gallery, and Nicholson will also draw connections to the 2021-2022 Campus Read,  The Line Becomes A River by Francisco Cantú.
