Stella Peterson

Stella Peterson is a sophomore at West Virginia University, studying the field of public relations. With dual minors in political science and leadership studies, Stella’s dream career is in the field of political public relations, hopefully, one day managing a political campaign. She will be graduating from WVU in the fall of 2024. Stella is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and lived there her whole life until moving away for college. Growing up in Philadelphia, the jump to West Virginia was scary but worth it for the many scholarships she received, including a scholarship of distinction and a scholarship from the Reed College of Media. Stella is a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and the director of membership selection for the sorority. Stella volunteered on the weekends to help teach middle school children about STEM and STEM-related fields at the Franklin Institute, throughout high school. Stella is the social media manager for WVU’s Quiz Bowl team, as well as a member of the team. Stella was in a CTE program, a career and technical education program, in high school and she specialized in digital video. She is now fluent in Adobe Creative suite, is NOCTI certified in Adobe Premiere, and uses them frequently.
